Why Water Efficient Technology (W.E.T.)

is a series of patented features that provide savings throughout our Evolve Series water softeners.

wripli

Imagine running a load of laundry with a full cup of soap, for only one pair of socks. You wouldn’t do that because it would be wasteful, but that’s exactly how a traditional softener cleans itself.

wripli

Regular water softeners will use enough water and salt to clean the whole system, even if there is unused media inside.

wripli

Why waste resources on media that doesn’t need to be cleaned? W.E.T. creates a smarter system to save salt, water, energy, and the planet.

W.E.T. could save you 50% on salt and water!

Features of the Wripli Mobile App

Five different features qualify as Water Efficient Technology.

Each has a specific purpose to ensure the system is running at maximum efficiency at all times.

Every W.E.T. component can be activated by itself or use all five for the most savings!

Learn what each feature does on the following pages.

History Screen

W.E.T. watches how much salt and water your system uses during it's cleaning cycles.

wripli

Salt Monitor

Our Salt Monitor tests the salt water solution every time it enters the tank.

Alternate Regeneration

Alternate Regeneration keeps your system from feeling fatigued by occasionally activating a deeper clean

wripli

Proportional Regeneration

Reduces the amount of water drawn in the “backwash” and “rinse” cycles

wripli

Proportional Brining

Makes only enough salt water to clean the amount of media you have used.

Benefits of W.E.T Technology

wripli

Proportional Brining Reduces Salt Waste

Water softeners use salt water (brine) to clean the used media in the tank.

Normal systems will create enough salt water to clean all of the media.

Proportional Brining will make only enough salt water to clean the amount of media you have used. This leads to salt savings every time it is cleaned.

wripli

Proportional Regeneration Reduces Water Waste

Softeners have a “backwash” and “rinse” cycle during a cleaning process.

Normal systems use enough water to flush a full tank during both cycles.

Proportional Regeneration reduces the amount of water drawn in the “backwash” and “rinse” cycles to match the amount of media that has been used. This feature saves water every time your unit cleans itself.

wripli

Alternate Regeneration Maintains Performance

Reducing the amount of salt and water to clean your system can make the media tired and less effective over time.

Alternate Regeneration keeps your system from feeling fatigued by occasionally activating a deeper clean.

Running lighter cleaning cycles and targeted deep cleaning cycles is the perfect solution to saving money without sacrificing performance.

Salt Monitor Prevents Salt Depletion

Adding salt to your brine tank is an important task — like adding oil to a car when levels are low. Unlike a car, your water softener is easy to forget about.

Our Salt Monitor tests the salt water solution every time it enters the tank.

When salt levels become too low, it triggers an alarm to remind you to add salt.

Savings History Screen Calculates Savings

How do you know these features are working? Well, we will prove it to you!

W.E.T. watches how much salt and water your system uses during it’s cleaning cycles.

The Savings History Screen compares your numbers to a regular softener, then shows how much less you’ve used than that system.

W.E.T. features help save money, energy, resources, and the planet!
